ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2010 - Schedule - Fixture - Results


Mumbai: The ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2010 will be held in the West Indies. The first match of the tournament will be played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka on April 30 at Guyana. The final will be held on May 16.
 The ICC T20 World Cup will be played at three venues - Bridgetown (Barbados), Guyana and St Lucia. In total, there will be 27 matches.
 In addition to regular 10 teams, two associate teams, Afghanistan and Ireland will also take part in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2010. The 12 teams have been divided into four groups.
 Top two teams in each group have been given numbers 1 and 2. Their position will remain the same, unless they were knocked down by the third team in their group.
 Group A – Pakistan (A1), Australia (A2) and Bangladesh
Group B – Sri Lanka (B1), New Zealand (B2) and Zimbabwe
Group C – South Africa (C1), India (C2) and Afghanistan
Group D – West Indies (D1), England (D2) and Ireland
 Super Eight Groups
 Group E –A1, B2, C1 and D2
Group F –A2, B1, C2, and D1
